AiCogni: Registration
You can start using AiCogni without registration. Just hit the LOGIN button and the account linked to your Google acc will be created. You will be able to use all the features, including in-game purchases. However you won’t be able to transfer your purchases (credits) to another device. Also please note that registration provides significantly more free credits and requires only E-mail
To register for the program, you need to enter your email address as your login, set a password (minimum 6 characters), and click “Create.” Then, go to your specified email inbox and complete the registration by clicking on the link in the email you received. After that, you can use your login and password to access AiCogni on any device where it is installed.
AiCogni will also prompt you to register a new user when entering a new unregistered email address and clicking the “Login” button.
Please check your Spam folder in your email inbox as well as your email filters. To resend the registration email, enter your email address and password, and click “Login.” In the “Confirm Email” window that appears, select “Yes.”
You may have entered an incorrect email address, or someone else has already registered this email address. In any case, if you are certain that the specified email address belongs to you, use the “Forgot password” function to recover your password.
Click on the “Forgot my password” button. In your email, follow the link and set a new password (minimum 6 characters).
No, AiCogni does not collect or require any personal data other than your email address.
Yes, you can use your account on any device where AiCogni is installed. However, please note that activating the premium version is tied to a Google account. Therefore, to use premium access on different devices, you need to have that account on each of them.
Chat Window
AiCogni is mostly a chatbot, thus it’s main priority is to provide text answers. However, the text can be structurized more conviniently if needed. Just ask for a TABLE presentation of data, for example – “make a table of 5 comedies with the country and year of release, main actors and short sinopsis”, and check the reply. AiCogni also can provide clickable links for internet recources, once the user asks for it, or highlight the coding syntax if the request was for the coding examples
Use the “Share Chat” or “Share screenshot” options in the chat menu located in the upper left corner to send the entire chat or the current screenshot to friends or colleagues. You can also use the “Share” option in the upper left corner of a message to forward or save a specific AiCogni response.
In AiCogni, there is a technical limitation on the length of a single request. Currently, the limit is set to 2000 words. We want to remind you that excessively long requests can quickly deplete your credits. Therefore, we recommend clearing the chat, especially if you need to change the conversation context.
A too short response length was selected in the settings. To hear the continuation of the response, say “Continue” or select “Continue” in the menu located in the upper left corner of the last message. To avoid repeating the issue, increase the Response Length parameters in the Settings.
ChatGPT has certain limitations, especially when queries are in a language other than English. Additionally, the response is influenced by the Mood settings, Creativity level, and the specified Bot specialization (see Bot section). Minor variations in wording can impact the answers, and changes to the above-mentioned settings can significantly alter the dialogue with AiCogni. Higher Creativity parameter leads to more imaginative responses, which can be useful for essay preparation, idea generation, or writing social media posts. However, if precise answers are needed, it is advisable to lower the creativity level to reduce the likelihood of non-existent details. Experiment and choose the best combinations of settings that suit you.
The usage of the ChatGPT bot varies, and typically, in the next session after some time, users are often interested in a question or topic different from the previous one. In such cases, the chat history can not only increase the cost of messages (see Settings) but also affect the relevance of the answers. Therefore, the chat is completely cleared when it is restarted (except for cases when the notification panel is activated).
Settings
Yes, you can use different languages, but it’s important to note that AiCogni performs best when using English. Also, please keep in mind that a sudden switch of languages in the chat may not always be understood by the program.
Premium access not only allows you to use your API key but also provides access to advanced program features. While these features are not critical for a positive experience with AiCogni, they can enhance usability and expand your capabilities. We are continuously developing both the free and premium sections to ensure that our users have access to the best program available.
Moods are pre-set configurations for the bots, allowing for unique dialog experiences with AiCogni. While this may not be as noticeable in short answers to general knowledge questions, it becomes more apparent during complex and extended conversations. For example, when the program is set to a sarcastic or grumpy mood, it may indicate that it doesn’t intend to answer your question.
Using a specific combination of a BT headset and Android version can hinder in-app operations with the BT headset control buttons. Our team has already implemented updates aimed at addressing this issue and ensuring seamless compatibility. However, we are aware that some users are still experiencing this problem and are actively working to find a comprehensive solution.
Reply Length limits the maximum length of AiCogni’s response. On one hand, longer responses consume more credits, but on the other hand, answers often require more than just two or three sentences, especially when exploring complex subjects. If your answer was cut off, you can always click “Continue” in the response menu or type the word in the chat. For your convenience, you can create bots with different settings and use them based on the situation at hand.
The higher the History Memory parameter, the more the application remembers your dialogue. Since AiCogni is based on ChatGPT technology, it learns from user interactions. By providing important inputs in the dialogue, you can receive relevant answers as long as the program considers your message. However, increasing History Memory also increases credit consumption, as the program needs to process a larger amount of data. For casual conversations, setting History Memory to a lower level is sufficient, but if contextual answers are more important to you, you can increase this parameter to the maximum.
These toggles have the following properties:
- Auto-Pronounce reply:
- Active: AiCogni automatically speaks the response.
- Inactive: The response will be in written text only.
- Auto-send after recognition:
- Active: After recognizing the user’s spoken text, the program automatically sends it for processing.
- Inactive: The user needs to confirm the sending of the recognized text. This is useful when using specific terms that may not be familiar to the speech recognition system on the user’s device.
- Auto-Listen after reply:
- Active: After each response, the program automatically activates the microphone and enters the recording mode for the next request.
- Inactive: After the response, the program waits for the user’s action. This is useful when manually inputting text, such as using specific terms.
- Auto-Listen on Start:
- Active: After starting AiCogni, it automatically activates the microphone and enters the recording mode for the first request.
- Inactive: After starting AiCogni, the user decides when to start speech recognition.
- Use Bluetooth Headset Mic:
- Active: When your Bluetooth device (headset) is active, voice recognition will occur through the device’s microphone.
- Inactive: Speech recognition will always be done using the phone’s microphone.
Credits & Premium Access
AiCogni’s work with ChatGPT requires significant computational power to process requests. In order to efficiently utilize resources and continue developing and training artificial intelligence, interacting with ChatGPT involves a small financial compensation proportional to the volume of resources used, measured in words (since Chat Generative Pre-trained Transformer works with words). One credit is equivalent to one 4-5 letter word. Therefore, the credit balance reflects the number of words that can be used in the dialogue between artificial intelligence and humans (excluding technical information).
You can purchase credits in the corresponding section, and the more you buy at once, the higher the discount! However, AiCogni is also considerate of Free to play users, allowing them to work with advanced ChatGPT bots without financial costs. Watching advertisements rewards you with a sufficient amount of credits for casual inquiries, making advanced technologies accessible to everyone.
First, check if VPN or any ad-blocking programs are active. It’s possible that there was an advertising identifier failure or it was disabled. In this case, go to Settings -> Google/Privacy -> Ads -> Reset advertising identifier/Get new advertising identifier.
Yes, the premium package does not provide an unlimited amount of credits. However, it allows you to use your API key, which does not require the use of credits. Furthermore, users who have registered for the advanced ChatGPT testing program can utilize the API with more advanced test releases, within the AiCogni framework.
Premium access primarily allows you to use your own API key. This gives you a convenient interface to interact with ChatGPT anytime when your smartphone is nearby. Moreover, if you have registered for the advanced ChatGPT testing program, you can specify the version in the corresponding field to gain access to it within AiCogni. We plan to develop both public and premium sections to ensure that our users have the best program available on the Google Play Store.
Within the premium access, users have the opportunity to use their own API, which means they do not consume the application’s API, resulting in AiCogni not using credits. However, if for any reason a user does not want to use their API key, we provide them with the option to continue using AiCogni’s credit system. Credits reflect the volume of interaction with ChatGPT, allowing for the most efficient utilization of computational resources.
By inputting your own key, you start using AiCogni as a convenient interface to interact with the system, which is always at your fingertips (or on your wrist if we’re talking about WearOS). Primarily, the application stops using credits since each API has its own account in ChatGPT. However, if you have registered for the advanced version testing program of ChatGPT, you can provide the relevant information for the selected key and gain access to that version within the AiCogni interface.
When purchasing the premium package, it is tied to the current Play Store account. Therefore, to use premium access on another device, it needs to have an account that was used to make the purchase.
Bots
Bots allow for even more customization of AiCogni to suit individual users. By creating multiple bots with different roles, you can quickly switch from serious chemistry learning to writing creative posts about music on social media. The flexibility of settings provides a vast field for imagination, making the journey into the world of AI even more exciting.
The bot’s gender, name, and image do not affect its responses. Gender is only used to determine the appropriate language support.
A role for a bot is a predefined set of characteristics that reflect the actions of a specific character. For example, an Interviewer will ask questions on a chosen topic, allowing the user to prepare for an interview, while a Counselor will actively listen and provide support in understanding emotions, offering advice on various support methods. Try different roles and choose the ones that are most relevant to you at the moment.
Style adds personalization to the selected bot. Expressing thoughts in metaphorical and poetic style or providing witty and satirical responses—style nuances can completely transform the interaction with artificial intelligence, further blurring the line between machine and human.
Topic/Expertise is a setting that allows the bot to be tuned to a specific theme. If you specify something in this field, the bot will strive to relate your questions to the specified topic and sometimes openly encourage you to talk about it. This is useful when you want to engage in a specific context while addressing a wide range of topics.
Watches
AiCogni allows you to quickly access the chatbot without the need to take out your phone, providing unmatched convenience in certain situations.
Yes, the watch application is not a standalone app since the communication with the user still happens through the phone’s microphone (or headset if you are using one) and the communication with the server occurs over the internet. Therefore, both the watch and the phone need to have the app installed for proper functioning.
Currently, the watch application works in conjunction with the phone application, and the response is played either through the phone’s speakers or through Bluetooth headphones. We are continuously working to expand AiCogni’s capabilities, so stay updated to avoid missing out on the addition of new options!
Yes, you can use the watch and headset simultaneously, allowing you to have a conversation with the artificial intelligence even when your phone is in your pocket or purse. Use the watch to initiate the recognition of your question and speak through the headset. Just remember, AiCogni requires internet access to function.
Please check the app settings on your phone. It’s likely that AiCogni has not been granted permission to work in the background, causing the system to put the app in power-saving mode. Disable the power-saving function for AiCogni using the instructions provided in the Support section.
Support menu
By default, Android imposes limitations on the background operation of apps. If power-saving mode is not disabled, AiCogni may not process requests coming to the phone when the screen is locked, such as those from the watch.
Some phones have other battery management methods. In the Battery settings you can find some other options that might be required for app to operate in the background, for example “App management” or “App launch”.
